GLTA 2021 Election Results
GLTA is pleased to announce the results of 2021 Election. Thank you to the 55 Member Clubs (voter turnout 71,4%) who attended virtually and cast their votes.
Election Process
The candidates at the 2021 GLTA Elections were:
- John Barrera
- Tony Boutoubia
- Rowen D’Souza
- Merit Lookene
- Petr Pipek
- Gary Renville
Each member club received a secure link to cast their votes. Clubs voted for two individuals from the declared candidates. The elections closed on November 30, 2021, at 11:59 pm EST after which the final tallies were independently verified by election auditors Seamus Skelton (Europe) and Tim Ross (North America).
The Results
The chart shows the percentage of voters supporting each candidate (the % is calculated based on 55 clubs voting and the number of votes received by each candidate). At these elections, Rowen D’Souza and Merit Lookene were re-elected to the GLTA Board of Directors.
