GLTA Board Announces Officer Positions and New Initiatives for 2025

On February 9, 2025, the Pride Tennis Worldwide, Inc. (GLTA) Board of Directors met in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, for its first meeting of the year to discuss the present and future of the organization and the GLTA World Tour.  At the meeting, the Board enthusiastically welcomed its newest members, Amy Hasquet and Grzegorz Gardyjas, who were elected during the December 2024 elections.  The Board also welcomed back four returning Board members: Rowen D’Souza, who was re-elected in December, Leo Reece, Daniel Cribb, and Matt Feinberg.

Consistent with the organization’s mission, all Board members offer their steadfast dedication to providing an open, safe, and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ tennis community and all allies who participate in and support that community.  The six Board members offer unique experiences, skills, and talents, and we look forward to serving the entire GLTA World Tour over the course of the year.

As part of the Board’s commitment to its member tournaments, the Board will be offering new opportunities for members to connect directly with the Board throughout the year.  As in the past, members and players can always reach the Board through its general email address – tennis, or individual board members at their director’s email addresses below.

In addition, new for 2025, the Board will host quarterly member meetings via video conference.  These meetings, which will be recorded, will offer members the opportunity to collaborate directly with the Board and each other to exchange ideas, obtain resources for tournament administration and software use, find solutions to issues that arise for members, promote tournaments and the GLTA World Tour, and create a more cohesive and accessible membership.  The Board looks forward to connecting with members at a new level.

The Board also moved forward with its plans to create committees to provide additional resources to members and players.
