GLTA Announces 2025 Board of Directors Election Results
The Pride Tennis Worldwide, Inc. (GLTA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the official results of the 2025 GLTA Executive Board Elections, following the close of voting on November 12, 2025.
We are excited to welcome the newly elected and continuing members who will serve on the GLTA Executive Board, contributing to the growth and governance of the GLTA World Tour. The elections conducted were:
The General Election
The General Election was held for two at-large Director positions, each serving a full three-year term commencing January 1, 2026, and concluding December 31, 2028.
The GLTA is proud to announce the election of:
- Peter Matjašič (Barcelona, Spain)
- Matt Feinberg (Washington, D.C., USA)
The Special Election
The Special Election was held to fill the remainder of a vacant at-large Director position, with the term running from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027.

- Jessica Chalmers (Sydney, Australia)
The Board is the governing body of Pride Tennis Worldwide, Inc. and the GLTA World Tour, comprised of seven dedicated volunteers, including a President/Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer. Officer positions are selected annually by the Board at its first meeting each year.

Election Summary
The election was conducted entirely online through electionbuddy.com and was audited and confirmed by three independent individuals: Terence St. Marie (United States), Siyan Baxter (Australia), and Lilla Salamon (Malta).
The GLTA Board of Directors extends its deepest gratitude to all the dedicated candidates—Chris, Jessica, J Cheung, Joey, Karolina, Matt, Peter, Petr, and Tu —who put their names forward. Your enthusiasm and commitment are invaluable to the future growth and success of the GLTA.
It is through the dedication of volunteers and the enthusiasm of players, tournament directors, and member representatives that the GLTA can continue to offer a safe space for LGBTQIA+ tennis players and fans across the globe.
The GLTA welcomes each of our successful candidates to the Board and looks forward to a successful 2025 GLTA calendar year, with new initiatives and ideas. The new terms will officially begin on January 1, 2026.

Note: As per GLTA bylaws, the newly formed Board will determine the officer positions (President, Treasurer, Secretary, etc.) for the 2026 calendar year at its first meeting in January.
