GLTA Masters Series Tournaments for 2023/2024 have been determined
Masters Series Tournaments hold an important place in GLTA’s Tournament Calendar. Playing at a Master’s Series tournaments is an opportunity for players to earn double championship points. This makes these tournaments very popular with players and an early registration is advisable – the places tend to sell out fast.
The GLTA Board is pleased to announce that it has selected 9 tournaments as GLTA Masters Series tournaments for the 2024 season (November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024).
The 9 tournaments for the 2024 season are:
- Palm Springs Open 2023: November 24–26, 2023; Palm Springs, California, USA
- Perth Lawn Tennis Championships: January 5–7, 2024; Perth, Australia
- The Diamond: March 29 – April 01, 2024, Nuremberg, Germany
- Prague Friendly Tennis Open: 5–7 July, Prague, Czechia
- The Crown, London 2024 Championships: August 01–04, 2024; London, UK
- Queen City Open: September, 2024; Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
- Capital Classic XXXI: September 13–16, 2024; Washington, D.C., USA
- VicTennis LGBTIQ+ Hard Court Championships: September 27–29, 2024; Melbourne, Australia
- Texas Open 2024: October 4–6, 2024; Dallas, Texas, USA
The Masters Series tournaments for the 2024 season offer a wide variety of player experiences across all surfaces (clay, grass, hard, indoor) in some of the world’s most amazing cities. The Board thanks all of the tournament directors and volunteers for their dedication to the GLTA’s mission and congratulates them for providing wonderful opportunities to players across the globe.
To select the Masters Series tournaments for the 2024 season, the GLTA Board considered statements of interest from interested tournament directors. In addition, tournaments with the highest player satisfaction ratings from the previous season were considered. Tournaments celebrating special anniversaries or events were given particular attention.
