The completely underrated and offbeat Turin is the place where you can really uncover an Italian experience without all the crazy crowds of the more famous cities. It is a gorgeous Italian town with everything that you would expect from one – piazzas, wide boulevards, fountains, cafes, delicatessens but excluding one – tourists. Walking through Turin, taking in the beautiful historical architecture, old-school tramways and intricately designed churches you’ll for sure be wondering why you haven’t travelled to this amazing city before.
Turin is definitely worth visiting as a tourist destination but the possibility to participate at the Black Cat tournament adds to the excitement of this extraordinary experience.

And then there is Alessandro, the dreamy tournament director of Black Cat. Those who have met him know that he radiates positivity and has infectious energy that can brighten up anyone’s day. Alessandro genuinely cares about everyone involved in the tournament and his warm and friendly demeanour makes participants always feel welcome and appreciated.

Smaller-scale events like Black Cat may not boast large numbers of participants, but this tournament definitely makes up for it with its undeniable charm. “At our tournament players form a tight-knit community, one where you’ll quickly get to know almost everyone present,” says Alessandro Carrera, Black Cat’s Tournament director. “There’s an intimacy to our even that just can’t be replicated and players always use the opportunity to make connections with each other.”
In 2022, Black Cat had 90 participants but is expecting 100 this year. With 50 people already registered, it is very likely that the tournament will reach its aim. Getting registered now is the best way to make sure you will not be left out!
