And the MASTERS SERIES tournaments in 2019/2020 are…
The Masters Series tournaments for 2019/ 2020 season have been determined.
Geographically there will be 5 Master Tournaments in North America, 5 in Europe and 1 in Asia. In making the decision the GLTA Board considered the latest survey results of the tournaments and took into account which tournaments were going to have celebratory editions in 2019/2020. Additionally, this time special consideration was given to tournaments that also offer women’s draws.
And now, without further ado, here are the Master’s Series Tournaments in 2019/2020:

- Women’s Sunshine Open Gran Canaria 2020, 28.03 – 31.03.2020, Europe, Gran Canaria
- LA Open 2020, 11.04 – 13.04.2020, USA, Burbank
- Canadian Gay Open presented by Babolat 2020, 16.05 – 18.05.2020, Canada, Toronto
- Pinkster Tournament 2020, 29.05 – 1.06.2020, Europe, Amsterdam
- 2020 Second City Tennis Classic, 7.08 – 9.08.2020, USA, Chicago
- Zurich Rainbow Open 2020, 14.08 – 16.08.2020, Europe, Zurich
- 2020 Peach International Tennis Championships, USA, Atlanta
Congratulations to the tournament directors of these 11 tournaments – you have earned this special status with hard work and dedication. To all the other tournament directors whose tournaments did not get selected this time – keep up the good work, keep bringing joy to the players and next year it could be you!
Playing at a Masters Series tournament is an opportunity for players to earn double championship points. Because of that the tournaments tend to sell out fast and an early registration is advisable. Some tournaments already have the registration open.
