GLTA Announces 2024 Board of Directors Election Results
The GLTA Board of Directors is pleased to congratulate Grzegorz Gardyjas (Poznan, Poland), Amy Hasquet (Los Angeles, California, USA), and Rowen D’Souza (Melbourne, Australia) on their election to the GLTA Board of Directors during the recent election conducted December 12-26, 2024. Grzegorz, Amy, and Rowen received the highest number of votes among six enthusiastic, accomplished candidates. They will begin three-year terms on the Board to begin January 1, 2025.
The Board is the governing body of Pride Tennis Worldwide, Inc. and the GLTA World Tour. It is comprised of six volunteers, including a President/Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer. Elections are held annually for one to three at-large director positions on a staggered basis. The Board selects the specific officer positions each board member will fill annually at the first Board meeting of each year based on each Board member’s personal strengths and interests.
One representative from each GLTA member organization is entitled to vote in GLTA elections, so long as that organization remains in good standing. This election, there were 83 eligible voters. 59 representatives submitted votes during the voting period.
