Fleur de Lis 2014 - A GLTA Master Series Tournament
Welcome! Bienvenu! Bienvenido! to New Orleans, and to our 7th Annual Fleur-de-Lis Tennis Tournament! We have been honored with the designation as the LAST MASTERS SERIES EVENT TOURNAMENT for the year! You need to register ASAP since openings will fill up quickly. This will be the last tournament to qualify for the National Tournament Championship. We are excited that you have chosen to honor us with your presence, talents, and skills (don't even think about the last two too long).
WELCOME/REGISTRATION PARTY is on Thursday, October 16, from 7 to 9 PM at The Balcony Bar (upstairs at Cafe Lafitte's in Exile, 901 Bourbon Street). Look for the banner! There you will register, get your packets, court assignments for Friday, and have some fun. A map and directions can be found HERE
The TOURNAMENT BANQUET will be on Saturday, October 18, from 7 - 10 PM at the New Orleans Courtyard Hotel (1101 N. Rampart St.) in the courtyard area around the pool. It will be catered again by Catering d'Orleans. The hotel will provide a cocktail bar for the banquet. Check out the hotel HERE A mad and directions can be found HERE
An AFTER BANQUET PARTY will be held at the Queens Head Pub (Good Friends Bar - corner of St. Ann and Dauphine). A map and directions can be found HERE

REGULATION PLAY will begin on Friday morning, October 18, at 8 AM at the UNO Tennis Center, located at 6500 Press Drive. The phone number for the center is 504.280.1108. All matches will be played on hard courts. The standard USTA default procedure (15 minutes) will be used. Please arrive 15 minutes EARLY to check in. The site desks have final authority on all default decisions.
New Orleans will use current GLTA Rules for all events. Read carefully to ensure you have entered the proper division. Failure to enter the correct division may result in GLTA sanctions on the player or the player may be defaulted from the tournament.
Open NTRP 5.0+ rating - highly advanced tournament player
A NTRP 4.5 rating - advanced tournament player
B NTRP 3.5 - 4.0 rating - high intermediate tournament player
C NTRP 3.0 rating - low intermediate tournament player
D NTRP 2.5 or less rating - beginning tournament player with little experience
