The GLTA joins forces with The USTA
The Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) and United States Tennis Association (USTA) have entered into an agreement to “promote and develop tennis in the LGBT community.” We are very excited about this partnership, and the GLTA has identified several target areas in the US for expansion. The GLTA is working with local LGBT leaders, USTA sectional staff and various USTA diversity staff members to establish new clubs in our target areas. The GLTA is focused on setting ourselves apart from other LGBT sporting organizations, and our goal is not just to grow as an organization, but to provide a quality and memorable experience for our new, current and future members.
